Sheena Israel was born and raised in the beautifully green city of Seattle, WA and although she misses Seattle terribly, she now lives in sunny (Long Beach) California with her husband Zac and hardly misses the rain at all. As an artists Sheena is full of intention. Every ink bleed, every wrinkle in the paper, every wash of color has its purpose and its purpose is to communicate. Painting on Dura-Lar with natural pigments, watercolors, and ink as the voices of the story. Sheena uses her graphic design background to create interestingly compelling compositions and is also available for freelance design work.
Currently Sheena is embarking on the magnificent journey of writing and illustrating her own Childrens book/ web comic. The story is about a little girl named Charlotte, who has a magical gift of making her world a fantastical place, She solves extraordinary and ordinary problems with imagination and good intentions.
